By using our services you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. Services are provided subject to applicable laws and professional regulations in Singapore, and Serantra operates as a legal assistance service focused on advising and connecting seniors with appropriate legal resources.

Access to Serantra services requires that users be legally capable of entering into agreements and comply with local laws. Certain services are intended for seniors and their authorised representatives. By engaging Serantra you confirm you meet any eligibility requirements for the specific service you request.
Minimum age: Users must be at least 18 years old to use our general site services. Certain senior-focused services are designed for older adults and their authorised carers or legal representatives; Serantra may require proof of authority for representation.
Lawful conduct: Services must be used for lawful purposes. You must not use Serantra to facilitate illegal activity, fraud, or to infringe the rights of others. Serantra reserves the right to refuse service where use appears unlawful or inconsistent with professional obligations.
Geographic limits: Serantra operates primarily in Singapore. Availability of specific services may be limited by jurisdictional factors, professional licensing, or local regulations. Users outside Singapore should confirm the applicability of our services in their jurisdiction.
Accounts and access
Account creation may be required for certain service requests or to access secure client communications. You are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining up-to-date contact details to facilitate service delivery.
Accuracy of information: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering or submitting requests. Serantra may rely on this information to provide tailored assistance; incorrect or incomplete data may affect the quality of advice or referrals.
Account security: Protect your account credentials and personal devices. Do not share login details. Notify Serantra promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or if your credentials are compromised.
Non-transferable accounts: Accounts and access rights are personal and may not be transferred or assigned without Serantra’s written consent.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact Serantra immediately so we can secure the account and advise on next steps. Prompt notification helps limit potential misuse of personal information.
Serantra may suspend or restrict access to accounts where there is a risk to client safety, potential fraud, breach of these terms, or non-payment for fee-based services. Suspension may be temporary while issues are contribute.
Scope of services
Scope: Serantra provides legal assistance services tailored to seniors, including initial consultations, document review, referrals to qualified lawyers, assistance with accessing public benefits, and education on common legal concerns for older adults. Serantra may also coordinate with carers and authorised representatives as requested.
Service modifications: Serantra may change, restrict, or discontinue aspects of its services to reflect operational needs, regulatory changes, or to improve service delivery. Notice will be given for material changes when practicable.
Availability: While Serantra strives for reliable access, service availability depends on resources, third-party partners, and external factors. Occasional interruptions or delays may occur; Serantra will communicate expected impact where possible.
User conduct rules
Users must adhere to standards of conduct that protect clients, staff, and the integrity of Serantra’s services. Prohibited behaviours include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Harassment, abuse, or threats toward Serantra staff, partners, or other users.
- Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data without authorisation.
- Submitting false, misleading, or fraudulent information to obtain services.
- Using the service to engage in illegal activities or to infringe third-party rights.
- Distributing unsolicited marketing or promotional content through Serantra’s systems.
- Circumventing security measures, rate-limiting, or usage controls imposed by Serantra.
- Impersonating Serantra, its staff, or a representative of a government or legal authority.
User content and submissions
Users may provide documents, case details, or other content to Serantra to receive assistance. By submitting content you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate the rights of others.
Ownership: You retain ownership of content you submit. However, you grant Serantra the rights necessary to process and act on the content for the purpose of delivering services.
License to use submissions: By submitting content you grant Serantra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce and transmit the content in order to provide the requested services and to comply with legal obligations.
Responsibility: You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of materials submitted. Serantra is not responsible for content supplied by users that is false, misleading, or violates third-party rights.
Removal: Serantra may remove or refuse to process user content that violates these terms or applicable law. Requests to remove content will be assessed in accordance with legal and operational obligations.
Intellectual property
Intellectual property rights in Serantra’s materials, including text, logos, templates, and software, belong to Serantra or its licensors. Use of Serantra’s intellectual property requires prior written permission, except as expressly permitted.
- Do not copy, reproduce, or publicly display Serantra proprietary content without permission.
- Do not remove or alter any copyright, activity, or other proprietary notices on Serantra materials.
- Do not use Serantra’s branding in a manner that suggests endorsement or partnership without written consent.
Paid services and fees
Certain services offered by Serantra may be fee-based. Paid services can include extended consultations, document drafting, case management, or referrals to third-party professionals with fee structures disclosed in advance.
Pricing: Fees for paid services will be communicated prior to engagement. Fees are determined based on the scope of service and resource requirements and are subject to change with notice.
Payment: Serantra accepts payment methods disclosed at the time of purchase. Payment must be received before or as specified in the service agreement. Outstanding balances may result in suspension of services.
Subscriptions: Where offered, subscription services will include details on billing cycles, renewal terms, and cancellation procedures. You will be notified of recurring payments and any material changes to subscription terms.
Refunds: Refunds for paid services are handled case-by-case. Where a refund is available, Serantra will process it subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and to applicable law. Refund requests should be submitted promptly with supporting information.
Cancellation: You may cancel fee-based engagements in accordance with the cancellation terms provided at engagement. Serantra may retain fees for services already rendered up to the point of cancellation.

Non-payment: Failure to pay fees may result in suspension, limitation, or termination of services and may lead to collection actions as permitted by law.
